Cost of Living and Housing
I will prioritize bringing down the cost of utilities, groceries, higher education, and healthcare. I will hold utilities like Eversource accountable for price hikes. I’ll secure funding to make it easier for first-time homebuyers, seniors, and working families to find reasonably priced places to live.
Education and Childcare
I will expand vocational education seats to create a pipeline to good-paying jobs and raise standards for schools so our kids have access to a world-class education. Childcare is getting way too expensive. As a State Representative, I will provide relief to childcare providers so they can stay open and drive down costs.
Traffic and Roads
I’ll find innovative solutions to reduce traffic, including conducting traffic studies, expanding public transportation, and making neighborhoods walkable. Fix the roads and secure state and federal resources for pothole repair, sidewalk improvement, and snow removal upgrades.
Transparency and Accessibility
Unlike Donald Wong, you will always be able to reach me. You will have my number and you will get a response. I believe transparency and accountability are not talking points. They are the standard. Responsive constituent services are the foundation of good government, and that is the standard I will uphold.
Senior and Veterans
I’ll oppose cuts to Medicare, including assisted living facilities, day programs, and personal care attendants. As a proud Veteran, I know that we need to take care of those who’ve served our country and end veteran homelessness, fund transitional wrap-around services, and prioritize mental health.
Public Safety and Substance Use
I lost my dad to substance use. I know that we need a long-term, regional policy solution to the mental health and substance-use crisis. We need to support the police and fund youth programs to prevent and combat violence.
