Where I Come From

I was born into a working-class family in Lynn. My father was a firefighter—brave, but battling alcoholism—and my mother worked long shifts at the GE factory to keep us afloat. Life wasn’t easy, but those years taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and never making excuses.

I didn’t grow up with advantages. I grew up learning how to work. ... I’ve served my country, punched a clock, and kept going when quitting would’ve been easier.

Service, Sacrifice, and Showing Up

After high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the height of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I didn’t come from money, but I believed in serving something bigger than myself. The Navy shaped how I live and lead—teamwork, accountability, and putting others first.

When I came home, I did whatever it took to move forward. I worked a long list of jobs—truck driver, dental assistant, butcher, Division 1 college hockey referee—while earning my associate degree from North Shore Community College and my bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. Eventually, through grit and persistence, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University.

Building From the Ground Up

Today, I’m proud to serve Lynn as the owner of Broadway Family Dental. Building my practice from the ground up wasn’t easy, but it’s one of my greatest accomplishments. Every day, I care for working families who remind me of where I come from. I understand their struggles because I’ve lived them.

Why I’m Running

My commitment to service didn’t stop at my dental office. I was elected to the Lynn City Council to represent Ward 1, working to make city government more accessible, more responsive, and more focused on real results—safer streets, better services, and strong neighborhoods.

I’m running for State Representative because Beacon Hill needs more people who understand working-class life firsthand. I’m not a career politician. I’m a veteran, a small business owner, a husband, a father, and a public servant. I believe leadership should be honest, accessible, and accountable—and that hard work should show up in action, not just words.

On November 3, 2026, I ask for your vote. I’m ready to work hard for Lynn.

“Pete comes from a working class family that knows what it means to pick yourself up from nothing and turn it into something. He really cares and no one will represent us better than him.”
